Enjoyed photographing this sweet summer session with the Poole Family. I photographed the Poole Family last Summer and this time it was extra special because Lauren is pregnant with a boy, her second. This family session doubled as a maternity session, which was nice because Ms. Noelle, being two, wasn't quite having it this year. I always tell everyone that two is the hardest age for photographing, but we make it work! I always have a couple tricks up my sleeve when photographing kids, but a two year old challenges me the most! And that is OK!
The Pool Family is one of my few clients who chooses a morning session, however I am always thankful for it! The morning sessions are so beautiful and this session did not disappoint. My favorite detail which Lauren wasn't sure about initially, was the light blue nail polish! Not planned at all, but it was a perfect touch to say hey, we are having a little boy. I am totally ok with traditions like the pinks and blue to represent!
This family and maternity session takes place in a small park in Atlanta. Atlanta sessions always give the jitters because I typically don't have clue where I am going and traffic + Atlanta drivers, need I say more? Atlanta, however surprises me with how many stunning parks and honestly just how beautiful the city is in a lot of areas. Never a disappointment when I photograph in Atlanta, just always a little nervous entering in to the city! Born in but not exactly raised and I probably won't ever get used to it.
The Poole family is always so put together and just a picture perfect family. I am so grateful to have them and be able to photograph their sweet milestones.
