Jennifer & Dylan
In the midst of a freezing winter day at Seven Islands Birding State Park, Jennifer, Dylan, and I embarked on their engagement session that not only embraced the elements but also encapsulated their infectious laughter and unwavering joy. Jennifer and Dylan reside in Tennessee, so for me, this was a little bit of an adventure session. I was able to knock out another state on my list of photographing couples. I think I just need Alabama and I will officially have photographed in all the states surrounding Georgia- where I am.
Jennifer imagined mountains for the scenery and this state park was an easy place to make that happen! I immediately fell in love. If it wasn't for the colder weather, I definitely would have tried to do more exploring. Our original place was going to be in North Carolina, but the roads were closed due to ice. Undeterred by the biting cold, Jennifer and Dylan arrived at the park, equipped with warm winter outfits and contagious enthusiasm.
From the moment Jennifer and Dylan started taking photos, their smiles and giggles filled the air. As they held hands and shared animated conversations and jokes I wished I could hear, their genuine connection and a shared sense of humor became the heart and soul of the session. I love when a couple truly embraces the sillyness of cuddling in the middle of a walking path. Genuine laughter and smiles are always the goal of a session.
Jennifer and Dylan's engagement session at Seven Islands Birding State Park was perfect! In the face of bone-chilling temperatures, their vibrant spirits radiated warmth and I had so much fun with them.
